Lilliputiens is a through and through Belgian company. We focus on the creation of stuffed toys and decorations, but we like to put it this way: we create wonderful and enchanting toys to stir the fantasies and curiosity of your children, toys that grow as their world grows too. Our fans – boys and girls from 0 to 4 years – are little adventurers. Wonder is their key to the world. They must be able to understand the world around them so that they can both stay alert and feel good about themselves. They have a great need for soft, supple and delicate objects. They intuitively have a great affection for fabric toys. The variety of textures, noises, shapes and colours of Lilliputiens’ toys stirs their senses. Our toys grow as your children do, from baby to toddler. Every toy is a voyage of discovery in itself, and your children will discover new and fun elements, activities and games from it at every phase. So they won’t be amongst those toys that find their way to the back of the games cupboard within three months!

Our designers’ creativity knows no bounds. The design team consists of four young Belgian moms who know exactly what little people want. The fruits of their imagination are often the gems of a wonderful fantasy, and they have created a world full of little wonders. But that vast amount of playful inspiration does not mean that we have ignored traditions. A variety of major themes and classic toys have proved to be mainstays over the years – and so we have employed the same concepts. We don’t just apply them to the toys, we enrich them with a dash of magic and the occasional addition of a large dose of enchantment.

We offer new themed products (farm, safari, nature, etc.) across our collections, so if your children are more interested in a specific theme an entire range of toys and books related to that theme are available. And of course we also have our mascots – important and colourful characters that play a variety of roles in our range of products: Ophélie the Mother Hen, Arnold the Hippo, Walter the Dragon, Théophile the Crocodile, Leo the Peacock and many more.

All our products are Belgian creations, copyright-protected. Our design team consists of young moms, who are very aware of the importance of safety – something they never forget while designing our toys. The quality and safety of Lilliputiens toys is guaranteed thanks to:

• The materials that we use are chosen with care, constantly re-evaluated and subjected to the most severe possible tests (EN71, AZO, cadmium, plasticisers, saliva, ASTM, etc.).
• Our dyed or printed materials are all certified as AZO-FREE, which means that they have been comprehensively tested for azo compounds, heavy metals and so forth. This certification guarantees that all the dyes we use in our patterns are non-toxic.
• Every toy is tested comprehensively by recognised external laboratories and complies with the strictest European norms.
• Most toys can be machine-washed.

All of our toys are designed in Belgium. For production, we have selected partners in a number of countries. They were chosen with utmost care and in accordance with the most stringent criteria. We build with them clear long-term relationships, and require them to sign a declaration by which they are compelled to adhere to the applicable social legislation and are responsible for the safety of their employees. One of our staff will visit them on a regular basis. Independent services also regularly check the working conditions and the quality of the manufactured products.
